These terms cover sessions, readings, healing, Reiki training, workshops, programs and other services provided by Jackie Nield, operating under the registered business name Your Potential.
Services and client responsibility
My services may include spiritual guidance, intuitive and Akashic Records work, energy healing, Reiki, meditation, coaching and other complementary practices. They are offered to support personal insight, healing, spiritual development and wellbeing.
These services are complementary and are not a substitute for medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, financial or other qualified professional advice, diagnosis or treatment. You remain responsible for your choices, actions and wellbeing and are encouraged to seek appropriate professional advice where required.
I approach my work with care and integrity. Individual experiences vary and no particular result or outcome can be guaranteed.
Services and pricing
Services, programs, training, availability and pricing may change from time to time. Price changes will not affect services you have already purchased unless otherwise agreed. Any specific terms for a workshop or program will be provided before you purchase.
Bookings cancellations and rescheduling
Payment is required at the time of booking or purchase unless otherwise agreed. Individual appointments may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice.
For a change-of-mind cancellation and refund, at least 48 hours’ notice before your appointment is required, subject to the preparatory-work provision below. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice, rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice and appointments missed without notice will forfeit the payment.
Genuine emergencies or extenuating circumstances will be considered at my discretion. If you arrive late, your session may still need to finish at the originally scheduled time.
Reiki training
Reiki training involves preparation, materials and reserving a place in a limited-capacity course. At least 7 days’ notice before the training begins is required to cancel and receive a change-of-mind refund.
Cancellations within 7 days are generally non-refundable. Where circumstances allow, I may offer a transfer to a future training date. Please contact me as soon as possible to request a transfer. This training policy applies instead of the individual appointment policy.
Reports readings and preparatory work
Some services involve significant preparation before you receive your report or attend your session. These may include Soul Remembrance, Soul Alignment, Soul Embodiment, Spirit Guide Readings and other Akashic Records or energetic work.
Once I have commenced accessing your Records, undertaking energetic preparation or preparing your personalised report or reading, a change-of-mind cancellation or refund is no longer available, even if the appointment is more than 48 hours away. Please contact me promptly if you wish to cancel before work begins. Appointment rescheduling remains subject to the notice requirements above.
These provisions do not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Preparing for your session
Please drink plenty of water before your session and avoid alcohol and recreational drugs for at least 24 hours beforehand. This does not mean stopping prescribed medication; follow your treating practitioner’s advice.
I may postpone or end a session if you are under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs, or if it would be inappropriate or unsafe to continue. Payment may be forfeited if the session cannot proceed because you are under the influence, subject to extenuating circumstances and your statutory rights.
Recording sessions
Please ask before making an audio or video recording. Where permission is given, the recording is for your personal use and may not be published, shared or distributed without my prior consent.
Privacy and confidentiality
Personal information provided through bookings, intake forms, purchases or our work together is collected to provide and administer your services. It will be treated with care and confidentiality.
Information will only be shared where necessary to provide or administer your service, with your consent, or where required or authorised by law. Please refer to my separate Privacy Policy for more information about collection, use, storage and access.
Intellectual property and course materials
Original programs, course content, written resources, meditations, recordings, exercises and other materials created and provided by Jackie Nield remain my intellectual property unless otherwise stated.
You may use and make personal copies of materials provided to you for your own learning and reference. You may not share, publish, sell, distribute, commercially adapt or use them to create or deliver your own training, course or program without my prior written permission, except as permitted by law.
Where training expressly gives you permission or certification to use or teach particular materials or practices, that training’s terms apply. This provision covers my original content and does not claim ownership of third-party modalities, methods or materials.
Clients under 18
Clients under 18 require consent from a parent or legal guardian before receiving a service. Depending on the service and the client’s age, I may also require a parent or guardian to be present or involved in the booking or session.
If I need to decline or discontinue a service
I may decline, postpone or discontinue a service where I reasonably believe it is inappropriate or unsafe to proceed. If I cancel, you may choose an agreed alternative date or receive a refund for services not provided. If a service has partly been delivered, any refund will reflect the circumstances and your statutory rights.
Third party services and links
My website may link to third-party websites or services. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them. This does not remove my responsibilities for the services I provide or your statutory rights.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you have under Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation. The cancellation and refund rules above concern client cancellations and changes of mind, not remedies for services that fail to meet applicable consumer guarantees.
Governing law and updates
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the Australian Capital Territory, Australia, subject to any mandatory protections that apply to you.
I may update these terms by publishing a revised version on my website. The terms provided when you book or purchase apply to that booking or purchase, unless we agree otherwise.
